Co-Investigator, University of Reading
I started biking in the garden of my family home aged 4, having up-graded from my much-loved trike, to shiny new (and far more glamorous) Raleigh Bluebird.
I now ride everyday, and having shown an early interest in bike aesthetics, have accrued a bike for every occasion (you should see my shoe collection…).
Currently in my bike stable is my trusty Brompton, which I ride though all weathers on my commute to Reading, my well-worn road bike, which I use to explore the Hampshire countryside, and a bright blue and orange 1960s Moulton “New Look” Standard (my shopping bike) which never fails to draw quizzical looks from passers-by!
